Chaplin's Tramp joins the Alaska gold rush. Trapped by a blizzard in a cabin with a giant, starving prospector, he lives through scenes that made history: a dinner of boiled boot and a cabin teetering on the edge of a cliff. In town he falls for Georgia, a dance-hall girl who at first laughs at him. This is the original 1925 silent version.
