The 1928 short that made history as one of the first cartoons with synchronized sound.
A young deckhand whistles at the wheel of a steamboat until his grumpy captain arrives. At a river stop, cows, a goat and a passenger come aboard, and the trip turns into an improvised concert played on everything on deck. Released in November 1928, it proved that sound could be part of animation and changed cartoon history forever.
