Buster Keaton, a clumsy son on his tough father's riverboat, faces a legendary cyclone.

The gruff captain of an old steamboat awaits the son he hasn't seen since childhood, and gets Buster Keaton: thin, dapper and clumsy. To make matters worse, Willie falls for the daughter of the rival boat's owner. Everything comes to a head when a cyclone tears through town, in one of the most astonishing action sequences of the silent era.
