Chalk drawings come to life on a blackboard: one of the first animations in history.
A hand draws the faces of a man and a woman in chalk on a blackboard, and suddenly the drawings start moving on their own: they wink, smile, smoke and pull faces. With simple chalk tricks and cutouts, J. Stuart Blackton created in 1906 one of the first animated films in history.
